Abstract:The industrial development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is related to the national innovation development, prosperity and stability. In order to scientifically and accurately grasp its development status during the 13th Five-Year Plan period, this study evaluated the industrial development status of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area through text analysis, grey correlation analysis and other methods from the perspective of industrial policy evaluation and industrial Synergy evaluation. The results shed light on that: firstly, the industrial planning of nine mainland cities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is generally reasonable, but there is room for further improvement in the selection of leading industries, formulation of industrial objectives and overall planning layout. Compared with the planning objectives, the industrial development of each city in 2019 is not satisfactory, and most cities and industries have not reached the set objectives; secondly, the industrial layout and development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay area are relatively extensive, with a high degree of similarity and obvious homogeneity of industrial structure.Based on this, this study put forward relevant policy recommendations from the aspects of accelerating the transformation and upgrading of traditional manufacturing industry, promoting industrial collaborative innovation and improving the ability to cultivate and attract talents.
