Abstract:In the fierce dynamic competitive environment, more and more organizations are trying to leverage external resources to enhance their technology capabilities, cross-border search has become an important way for companies to optimize their technology capability structure. The research reveals the influence mechanism of cross-border search strategy on the ambidextrous innovation capability balance of enterprises, and tests the mediating effect of resource bricolage and the moderating effect of environmental dynamism based on 296 research samples of manufacturing enterprises in Guangdong, Zhejiang and Shandong province. Compared to technical knowledge cross-border search depth, the positive effect of market knowledge cross-border search breadth on dual competence balance is more significant. Resource bricolage plays a partially mediating role between the two types of search strategies and ambidextrous innovation capability balance. Environmental dynamics positively moderates the relationship between resource bricolage and ambidextrous innovation capacity balance. The research provides a reference for the development of corporate search strategies and optimization of technological capability structures in the context of open innovation.
