Abstract:Due to the long-term relationship among the public nature, investment and return of big science infrastructures (BSIs), exploring the path of industrial development and technological innovation based on BSIs has become the development trend of China. By analyzing the institutional experience of the European Big Science Business Forum from three aspects: the big science club system built by nations, the agglomeration effect of transnational procurement of big science organizations, and the effective docking of supply and demand information of big science and technology, we have obtained the following three policy implications: (1) Explore the establishment of the big science club system, and promote the cross-border cooperation of Chinese local governments to build big science organizations; (2) Explore the establishment of China's big science industrial policy, and promote the technological capacity of industrial organizations through public procurement for innovation; (3) Explore the establishment of China's big science market system.
