Abstract:Aiming at the current lack of integrated research on integration into global innovation networks(GINs), the paper discusses the process of enterprises' integration into GINs and puts forward four kinds of integration paths based on the integration of knowledge acquisition and intra-product specialization. Among them, the specialization path emphasizes the long-term interactive learning mechanism in the upstream and downstream of the global industrial chain to establish the specialization advantage in the field of manufacturing. The chain-upgrading path focuses on the formal and discrete global R&D mechanism to drive the transformation and upgrading of enterprises' industrial value chain from low-end to high-end. The differentiation path pays attention to the peer-to-peer or cross-border in-depth interactive learning mechanism to develop the local market competitiveness of the product. The market-leading path highlights the formal and self-dominated R&D mechanism to develop markets leading advantage. For promoting Chinese enterprises’s integration into GINs, corresponding suggestions are proposed from the aspects of strategic investment, basic capability building, paths selection, value realization, etc.
