近年来学者们已经识别了企业与多伙伴研发合作的平均关系强度和关系强度离散两种关系特征,但却缺乏对两种关系特征如何同时影响企业创新绩效的对比。针对这一局限,探讨了两种关系特征对企业创新绩效的影响,以及企业地理区域对主效应的调节机制。基于中国医药制造行业52家上市公司2007-2020年273个研发联盟样本进行实证分析,结果表明多伙伴平均关系强度的增加阻碍了企业创新绩效,而关系强度离散程度的增加促进了企业创新绩效;企业地理区域由东部向西部负向调节平均关系强度对企业创新绩效的作用,正向影响关系强度离散对企业创新绩效的作用。

Recent years, though scholars have identified the average tie strength and tie strength dispersion as two partnership characteristics, there is also a lack of research about the impact of these two partnership characteristics on innovation performance. To address the limitation, the research discusses how these two partnership characteristics of mutipartner research and development alliances influence firm innovation performance, and the moderating effect of firm geographic area. Based on the empirical analysis of 273 research and development alliance samples of 52 firms in China"s pharmaceutical manufacturing industry from 2007 to 2020, the results show that the average tie strength of multipartners hinders innovation and the tie strength dispersion promotes innovation. From east area to west area, firm geographical area negatively moderates the effect of average tie strength on innovation, and positively moderates the effect of tie strength dispersion on innovation.
