Abstract:In view of the interactive coupling relationship between the technological innovation system and the high-quality economic development system, this paper constructs an indicator system for technological innovation and high-quality economic development. The entropy weighting method is used for empowerment of weight of indicators, and the level of technological innovation and high-quality economic development in the central China from 2010 to 2019 is measured. A coupling coordination degree model is established to analyze the spatio-temporal evolution characteristics of coupling coordination between technological innovation system and high-quality economic development system. The result shows that: from 2010 to 2019, the level of technological innovation and high-quality economic development in the central region has increasingly improved, presenting a growing development trend; there is a big gap in coupling coordination degree among six provinces in the central China, and the coupling coordination degree presents a spatial distribution pattern of low in north, high in middle and flat in south; Hubei province has a high level of coupling coordination and is the only well-coordinated region in the central China; Shanxi province has the lowest level of coupling coordination and has been in a transitional stage, while Henan province, Anhui province, Jiangxi province and Hunan province have gradually evolved into intermediate coordination. Based on this, it is proposed to implement policies according to local conditions and implement differentiated development strategies. By increasing the input of scientific and technological innovation elements, promote the transformation of scientific and technological achievements and the integration of technological innovation and industrial development, so as to improve the coupling and coordination level of technological innovation and high-quality economic development in the central China.
