Abstract:The study further elaborates the new research hotspots and evolution trend of agricultural science and technology innovation in China, so that agricultural science and technology innovation greatly promote the implementation of rural revitalization strategy. This study uses the relevant literature on agricultural scientific and technological innovation in China from 1998 to 2021 collected by CNKI as the data source, and uses CiteSpace visualization analysis software for analysis and processing, then maps the network knowledge of authors and research institutions and analyze the core author-institutional partnerships. At the same time, the network knowledge maps such as co occurrence, clustering, timeline and emergence of keywords are used to reveal relevant research hotspots and evolution trends. The results show that: (1) From the overall trend, the research process of domestic agricultural science and technology innovation can be divided into four stages: germination, stable development, rapid development and consolidation development, and the number of published literatures increased first and then decreased, reaching the peak in 2012; (2) Agricultural science and technology innovation has developed from the initial point-based innovation to the current systematic collaborative innovation. The innovation elements pay more and more attention to comprehensive planning, and agricultural science and technology innovation tends to be green, coordinated and sustainable; (3) The study focuses on the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy, the driving role and influence of agricultural research institutions and collaborative innovation, reflecting the current policy orientation and urgent problems to be solved. According to the study findings, then from the gradual formation of enterprises as the main body, scientific research institutions supplemented by the collaborative innovation system, to promote knowledge flow more fully, innovation platform support capacity more extensive, as well as agricultural science and technology innovation in the ”Agriculture, rural areas and farmers” on the impact of the universality of the three perspectives put forward the future direction of further research and exploration.
