Abstract:In order to clarify the path mechanism and effect difference of green technology innovation —— energy saving and emission reduction —— high-quality development of manufacturing industry,Based on the connotation of high-quality development, the theoretical analysis framework of green technology innovation, energy conservation and emission reduction and high-quality development of manufacturing industry is constructed, and the high-quality development level of manufacturing industry is comprehensively measured from eight dimensions: structure optimization, factor benefit, quality brand, speed benefit, innovation-driven, green development, digitalization and intelligentization. On this basis,30 provincial-level sample data in my country were selected to test the effect and mechanism of green technology innovation on high-quality development of manufacturing industry from the perspective of energy conservation and emission reduction. The results show that: (1) From 2008 to 2019, the high-quality development level of our country's manufacturing industry generally showed an upward trend year by year, but there were large differences between different regions, and the characteristics of "high in the east and low in the west" were more obvious. (2) Green technology innovation plays a positive role in promoting the high-quality development of manufacturing industry. Energy saving effect, emission reduction effect and value chain promotion effect are the effective paths for green technology innovation to promote the high-quality development of manufacturing industry.(3) The impact of green technology innovation on high-quality development of manufacturing industry is different in different areas of human capital., and provide practical policy reference for promoting high-quality development of manufacturing industry under the background of carbon peak carbon neutralization.
