Abstract:Focus on the impact, mechanism and spatial spillover benefits of the establishment of national industrial transfer demonstration zones on regional innovation capacity, so as to provide reference for enhancing the implementation effect of relevant policies and promoting the promotion of regional innovation capacity. Taking 162 prefecture-level cities in central and western China from 2007 to 2019 as samples, this paper makes an empirical test by using multi-period DID and SDID models. The results show that: The establishment of national industrial transfer demonstration area can significantly increase the number of regional innovation, and improve the innovation quality capability represented by substantive innovation and green innovation. However, its promotion effect is heterogeneous in different regions, whether the specific transfer industry source area is clear and the development characteristics of the demonstration zone are located, and it has a significant spatial spillover effect. Therefore, all parts of China should continue to actively create a good development environment for undertaking industrial transfer, pay attention to clearly defining the types of undertaking industries and paying attention to the construction of innovative quality in the process of undertaking industrial transfer, and give play to the growth pole role of national demonstration zones for undertaking industrial transfer through rational layout and optimization of industrial structure, so as to promote the common development of regional innovation capabilities.
