Abstract:It is of great significance to rationally construct the evaluation system of performance level of blockchain industry ecosystem to promote the healthy development of regional industry ecosystem. Based on the analysis of the composition of the blockchain industry ecosystem, this paper constructs the evaluation index system of the blockchain industry ecosystem from the “target layer - criterion layer - index layer”, and makes an empirical analysis based on the panel data of 15 provinces in China from 2018 to 2020, using the methods of entropy weight and TOPSIS. The research shows that: (1) The blockchain industry ecosystem is composed of two subsystems: the ecosystem of main body system and the ecosystem of environment system; (2) The evaluation index system of performance level of blockchain industry ecosystem includes five secondary indicators and 17 subdivision indicators. The secondary indicators are composed of blockchain technology-production subject performance, technology-expansion subject performance, technology-application subject performance, industrial service subject performance and ecological environment performance. (3) The overall performance of blockchain industry ecosystem shows an upward trend, but the development speed is slow, and there is a significant imbalance in regional development. It is necessary to reasonably plan the elements of the blockchain industry ecosystem in combination with the local industrial environment.
