Abstract:Through literature review and expert survey, 23 factors influencing interdisciplinary research outputs were summarized from 6 dimensions. Based on the DEMATEL-ISM method, the relationship between the influencing factors was analyzed, and the key influencing factors of interdisciplinary research outputs were identified. The results show that the evaluation criteria for the importance and innovation of research outputs and the selection of reviewers are the direct factors affecting interdisciplinary research outputs. Diversified cooperative relationships and models, organization of research institutions, and recognition of achievements/contributions are important intermediate factors. Personal knowledge and skills, personal character and research style, and the importance of research questions are the fundamental influencing factors. Finally, through the analysis of key influencing factors, this paper provides countermeasures and suggestions for promoting the output of interdisciplinary research.
