Abstract:This paper systematically sorts out the path and mechanism of two-way FDI coordination to promote the efficiency of green technology innovation , and then we uses the super-efficiency SBM-DEA model to calculate the efficiency of green technology innovation in 38 cities in the Yangtze River Delta from 2011 to 2020. Next,we empirically analyzed the impact of two-way FDI coordination on the green technology innovation efficiency.The results show that, two-way FDI coordination can significantly improve the efficiency of green technology innovation, and part of the effect of this role is achieved by improving the level of market integration. At the same time, environmental regulation, economic development level, government support, and industrial structure can effectively improve the efficiency of green technology innovation.Threshold effect research shows after crossing the threshold variables such as market integration, environmental regulation, economic development level, and industrial structure, the impact of two-way FDI coordination on the efficiency of green technology innovation has been significantly improved.Further research shows in the case of different green technology innovation efficiency, the influence of two-way FDI coordination on the efficiency of green technology innovation shows an inverted-U relationship. When the efficiency of green technology innovation increases to a higher level, the impact of environmental regulation will gradually exceed that of two-way FDI coordination.
