Abstract:Science and technology innovation is an important engine to promote high-quality economic development. Using 136 counties and cities in Hebei Province as samples, the article explores the key factors and conditional groupings that influence the science and technology innovation in counties by using the fuzzy set qualitative comparative analysis method. The results show that there are three driving paths for high innovation level in counties, namely financial-driven, capital-driven and subject-finance double-driven, with diverse groupings and complementary substitution relationships among innovation factors contained in different paths, and the cases are evenly distributed and mostly concentrated in the eastern region; there is only one driving path for non-high innovation level, and the cases are mainly concentrated in the western There is only one non-high innovation drive path, and the cases are mainly concentrated in the western region, which is asymmetric compared with the high output path.
