Abstract:The relationship between universities and regional environment has undergone a series of changes in the past few decades. Colleges and universities, society and regions are gradually moving towards an integrated model, forming a benign two-way interaction and cooperation relationship: colleges and universities realize their social responsibilities, and society promotes the connotative development of colleges and universities. Colleges and universities participate in regional affairs, strengthen regional cooperation, build regional networks, deal with regional development problems, and gradually determine their own development characteristics in this process, which is the only way for German colleges and universities to develop their own characteristics. The construction of different types of regional university alliances is Germany's attempt to combine teaching and research across universities, institutions and disciplines. With the continuous improvement of relevant systems and the accumulation of practical experience, the alliance has made outstanding achievements in promoting the collaborative development of teaching and research, infrastructure service sharing, and regional integration of production, teaching and research in recent years.
