Abstract:After the Brexit, the UK"s scientific circles faced a series of challenges, such as the shortage of research funding, the loss of research and innovation talents, and the decline of innovation ability. The decline in UK"s competitiveness of technological innovation will have a negative impact on the British economy and society. In response, the UK government has formulated an overall strategy for research and innovation at the national level, planning for UK"s research and technological innovation from the aspects of enterprises, talents, regions and challenges. For the key areas, the UK government has launched a series of innovation strategies, actively established research and technological innovation institutions, and introduced and implemented research and technological innovation policies and measures. The measures taken after the Brexit by the UK government will be useful for reference to improve China"s innovation ability and global competitiveness.
