Abstract:To improve the accuracy of buffer monitoring signal, a buffer monitoring model with resource impulse is proposed. The model establishes the relationship between input resources and project schedule, calculates the real-time rate of project execution based on resource impulse, estimates the project execution time, and judges the risk of project delay according to the actual resource supply and buffer consumption. The simulation results show that the buffer monitoring model in this paper can have good monitoring performance in the face of different types of activities, reduce the monitoring cost caused by the wrong warning signal, and timely warn the possible delay, improve the reliability of the buffer monitoring signal.
