Abstract:Based on the new development concept, this paper constructs an evaluation index system for the high-quality development of the manufacturing industry. The entropy method is used to standardize the panel data of the manufacturing industry in 30 provinces (municipalities) from 2014 to 2020. Based on the coupling coordination model, the coordination level, spatial distribution characteristics and dynamic evolution trend of the two are analyzed empirically. The results show that during the study period, the coupling coordination level of digital innovation and high-quality development of manufacturing industry in all provinces in China showed a slow rising trend, but the coupling coordination degree of different provinces showed a significant difference in the overall pattern of "fewer provinces in the high and low stage, more provinces in the middle stage", and showed an obvious agglomeration effect in space. Based on this, it is proposed to promote regional cooperation and interaction, encourage manufacturing enterprises to enhance their technological innovation capabilities, create digital innovation paths, and strengthen inter-regional contacts, in order to provide certain reference for the collaborative optimization of digital innovation and high-quality development of manufacturing industry.
