数字平台如何实现互补创新是当前产业界、学术界关注的热点和难点。鉴于此,从最优差异化视角出发,基于互补者战略建立模块化互补创新的研究框架,提炼出数字平台内部、外部两种不同的互补模块,并以此构建了模块化数字平台互补创新的理论模型。通过模型的求解、仿真结果的分析以及抖音案例的验证表明:(1)在同等限制条件下,互补者有更大的概率选择创新策略,且在核心平台模块运营较为固定的情况下,互补者的创新效果更明显。(2)不论是互补方还是核心平台,增加创新的积极性对平台企业来说都是有益的,但是双方创新的差异程度不宜过大。(3)当平台生态系统处于不同发展时期,数字平台对互补伙伴的需求不同,因此互补者应该以合法性为前提优化创新机制,促进创新的积极作用。

How to realize complementary innovation on digital platforms is a hot and difficult topic in the industry and academia. In view of this, from the perspective of optimal differentiation, a research framework of modular complementary innovation is established based on the complementator strategy, and two different complementary modules of the internal and external digital platforms are extracted. Based on this, a theoretical model of modular digital platform complementary innovation is constructed. Through solving the model, analyzing the simulation results and validating the Douyin case, it is shown that: (1) under the same restrictive conditions, the complementator has a greater probability to choose the innovation strategy, and the innovation effect of the complementator is more obvious when the operation of the core platform module is fixed. (2) No matter the complementary side or the core platform, it is beneficial for platform enterprises to increase the initiative of innovation, but the innovation difference between the two sides should not be too large. (3) When the platform ecosystem is in different development stages, digital platforms have different needs for complementary partners. Therefore, the complementator should optimize the innovation mechanism on the premise of legitimacy and promote the positive role of innovation.
