Abstract:Taking enterprises as the main body to carry out industry-university-research collaborative innovation is beneficial to promoting the deep integration of industry-university-research and application. In the collaborative innovation between enterprises and universities, whether enterprises can effectively solve the institutional logic conflict between themselves and universities directly affects the quality of the collaborative effect. At present, there is a lack of literature on how to solve the institutional logic conflict between enterprises and universities. By analyzing the joint research center of Huawei and X University, the paper discusses the institutional logic conflict resolution mechanism of collaborative innovation between enterprises and universities. It is found that the resolution of the institutional logic conflict of collaborative innovation between enterprises and universities is the result of their joint construction of autonomous organizational units under the mixed logic structure. Within the autonomous organizational unit, the enterprise and the university design three kinds of mechanisms through consultation, namely, determining the dominant logic by situation, protecting the interests of the minority logic, and supporting the dominant logic position to ensure the effective operation of the organizational unit. The research conclusions enrich the collaborative innovation research of industry-university-research with enterprises as the main body, and expand the research of structural mixed schemes in the system logic theory, and have implications for the collaborative innovation practice of enterprises and universities.
