Abstract:China's patent-intensive industries create more intellectual property rights than any other country in the world. Patent-intensive industries are the key engine of China's economicgrowth and technological progress. In recent years,R & D investment has been increasing, with remarkable innovation-driven characteristics.In this paper, patent-intensive industries are selected from China's listed companies from 2016 to 2021.The DEA model and the fixed effect model are used to analyze the role of government subsidies on the technological innovation efficiency in the two stages of innovation research and development of patent-intensive enterprises and economic transformation. To further explore the regulatory effect of the innovation environment on the degree of influence in the two stages.The results show that:(1) Government subsidies play a significant role in promoting the innovation efficiency of the two stages of innovation research and development and economic transformation of patent-intensive enterprises, and the impact in the innovation research and development stage is greater than that in the economic transformation stage;(2) The more significant the impact of innovation environment on government subsidies and innovation R & D efficiency and economic transformation, indicating that the better the innovation environment, the more significant the government subsidies on the innovation R & D efficiency and economic transformation efficiency of patent-intensive enterprises.
