Abstract:Urban innovation spillover plays an important role in promoting regional innovation development. Based on the panel data of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomerations from 2016 to 2020, starting from innovation endowment and spillover endowment, and taking innovation input, innovation output, spillover environment and spillover breadth as secondary indexes, an evaluation index system of innovation spillover effect of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomerations is constructed. The entropy weight TOPSIS method was used to measure the index weight, evaluate the innovation spillover level of each city, and analyze the spatio-temporal evolution pattern. The results show that innovation input and spillover breadth have important effects on urban innovation spillover. The spillover effect of innovation is significant in Shanghai, Nanjing, Suzhou, Hangzhou and Hefei, but low in Chuzhou, Anqing, Tongling, Xuancheng, Chizhou and Yancheng. The overall innovation spillover level ?of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomerations is enhanced, showing the distribution characteristics of strong southeast, weak northwest, and multi-center. Finally, it puts forward some countermeasures to stimulate spillover benefits of urban innovation and promote collaborative innovation in Yangtze River Delta region.
