Abstract:With the support of the national intellectual property strategy, intellectual property securitization has developed rapidly. However, due to a series of factors such as the timeliness of intellectual property rights and the nature of intangible property rights, the securitization of intellectual property rights is facing greater risks, and the research on the risk management of intellectual property securitization is urgent. The characteristics of blockchain technology, such as de-trust, tamper-proof, openness and transparency, reliability of information and data, and common maintenance of the system, provide a solution for the risk management of intellectual property securitization. From the whole process, this paper divides the risks of intellectual property securitization into the risks in the underlying assets and the risks in the transaction process, and then explores the risk management path of intellectual property securitization based on blockchain technology. The results show that the legal risks brought by the underlying assets can be prevented with the help of the timestamp, hash tree root value of blockchain technology and the database platform established by blockchain technology, the income risk brought by the underlying assets can be prevented with the blockchain-specific timestamp technology, digital signature and smart contract.meanwhile,we can guard against the bankruptcy and isolation risk of intellectual property securitization by promoting the model of double-tier structure+blockchain,and against the information asymmetry risk and credit risk in the transaction process by introducing alliance chain and smart contract technology too.
