Abstract:It is of great significance to carry out research on the national agriculture science, technology and innovation collaboration (ASTIC) network of the Belt and Road to further strengthen ASTIC and improve the agriculture science, technology and innovation capability. Based on the co-authored papers of transnational agricultural science and technology in WOS database, the evolution characteristics and influencing factors of ASTIC network in the Belt and Road countries from 2006 to 2020 are analyzed by social network analysis and QAP regression model. The results are as follows: (1) The overall structure indicators of the ASTIC network in the Belt and Road are optimized to varying degrees, and the optimization speed of each indicator is faster than that of the global ASTIC network. (2) The decentralized trends of the ASTIC network in the Belt and Road and global countries are obvious, and multi-core coexistence is increasingly prominent. (3) China and Italy play the roles of core and intermediary simultaneously. (4) The collaboration network present three types of block agglomeration characteristics: bidirectional spillover, main beneficial and "broker". Asian countries are the main engines to promote collaboration. (5) The institutional proximity, economic proximity, research proximity and cognitive proximity have significant positive impact on the three stages of the ASTIC network, while the hindrance effect of the spatial proximity on collaboration is gradually weakened. The Belt and Road countries should further attach importance to cross-border ASTIC, clarify its own position and role in the ASTIC network, fully leverage the important role of core countries, and accelerate its integration into the international core network of ASTIC.
