Abstract:With the continuous development of information technology, artificial intelligence and other technologies, in recent years, countries around the world have increased their support for science and technology finance to enhance national scientific and technological innovation capabilities and economic competitiveness. In order to scientifically and accurately depict the development level of China"s regional science and technology finance and provide basic data for in-depth research in related fields, this paper uses the provincial micro-data released by various representative statistical yearbooks in China, and adopts the method of combining subjective and objective empowerment to determine the weights. A set of technology and finance development level index of 31 provinces in mainland China from 2009 to 2019 has been compiled. The index describes the development trend of science and technology finance in different regions of China: the development level of science and technology finance in China shows obvious regional convergence characteristics on the whole, but also has strong spatial agglomeration and spatial heterogeneity, which indicates that there is still a certain space for development of regional science and technology finance in China.
