Abstract:As a kind of clean energy, hydrogen energy has great potential in terms of carbon emission and use cost, and plays an important role in the maintenance of energy security. The EU began to implement the hydrogen energy strategy in 2020, which is divided into three strategic stages, including the initial strategic planning and preparation, the medium-term strategic promotion and implementation, and the late strategic effect and expansion. Each stage has put forward specific targets and requirements, which are of great significance for Europe to achieve carbon neutrality and achieve the energy transition. With the continuous deepening of the policy, the EU"s hydrogen energy strategy will accelerate the evolution of the geopolitical landscape, deepen the reform of the global climate governance system, and accelerate the reshaping of global supply chain governance.
