Abstract:The high-quality development of competitive sports in China can not be achieved without the help of scientific and technological empowerment. Under the guidance of artificial functions, big data, new materials and other high-tech, foreign competitive sports training is scientific and rapid. The high input and low output of competitive sports in China and the low level of scientific training are restricting its development. In this study, cite space bibliometrics software was used to discuss the evolution path, research hotspots, frontiers and development trends of scientific research achievements of competitive sports in China. In this study, 16 core sports periodicals in China How periodical database are selected as data sources, and the data span is from 2000 to 2023. After cleaning, screening and supplementing the corresponding data, a total of 3918 scientific research documents of competitive sports in China were obtained. This paper makes a quantitative analysis from the aspects of the number of papers published by research institutions, core authors, research topics and the evolution of research hotspots. It is found that the cooperative network of competitive sports research in China has initially taken shape as a whole, with professional sports colleges, comprehensive university sports institutions and sports research institutes as the main nodes; The institutions of high-yield authors in this field are consistent with the research core institutions, and the research fields of core authors are basically consistent with the topic clustering labels in this field; The research theme takes athletes as the research center, specifically involving competition, training, skills and tactics, coaches, physiology, biochemistry and so on; Sports events are dominated by the dominant events, emerging events and unpopular events of China Olympic Games. However, in recent years, the overall research results showed an obvious downward trend, and the long-term scientific and technological assistance model is gradually restricting the innovation of competitive sports scientific research achievements. Therefore, it is suggested to build a diversified system of competitive sports scientific and technological training, improve the "trinity" model of training, scientific research and support, and build an innovative platform for competitive sports scientific research empowerment.
