Abstract:The dominant position of enterprises in national innovation has been further highlighted, making innovative leadership an emerging area of innovation research and strategic business management research. Leaders with innovative leadership promote and enhance employees" creativity and innovative behavior by developing policies that encourage innovation and creating an organizational climate that stimulates innovation, which in turn promotes organizational development and performance improvement. By systematically combing the existing literature on innovative leadership, this paper analyzes the connotation and measurement of innovative leadership and compares it with other types of leadership, clarifies the theoretical basis of innovative leadership, summarizes the antecedents and impact results of innovative leadership, and provides an outlook on future research directions.
