数字经济对欠发达地区城市经济高质量发展的影响机制——基于科技创新的中介作用分析

摘要:

广大欠发达地区城市正在寻求一系列方案措施来激发数字经济带来经济增长的红利效应。为探讨数字经济的发展对欠发达地区城市经济高质量发展的赋能作用及影响机制。根据数字经济和经济高质量发展内涵，构建城市层面的数字经济及经济高质量发展指标体系，在熵值法测算相关指数的基础上，采用双向固定效应模型对2012－2021年广西14个地市面板数据进行分析，同时用个体与时间双向固定模型检验科技创新因素的中介效应。实证结果表明：欠发达地区城市数字经济与经济高质量发展水平稳步上升，但存在发展不平衡、不充分问题；数字经济显著地促进了欠发达地区城市经济高质量发展，政府干预程度、产业结构水平、高等教育水平及城镇化率提升能有效促进欠发达地区城市经济高质量发展；科技创新在数字经济促进欠发达地区城市经济高质量发展过程中起重要的中介作用。基于结论，提出差异化数字发展战略，推动传统产业数字化转型升级等推动欠发达地区城市经济高质量发展的政策建议。

Abstract:

Cities in underdeveloped areas are seeking a series of measures to stimulate the dividend effect of digital economy on economic growth. To explore the empowering role and impact mechanism of the development of digital economy on the high-quality development of urban economy in underdeveloped areas. Based on the connotation of digital economy and high-quality economic development, a city level indicator system for digital economy and high-quality economic development is constructed. Based on the entropy method to calculate relevant indices, a two-way fixed effects model is used to analyze panel data of 14 cities in Guangxi from 2012 to 2021. At the same time, an individual and time two-way fixed effects model is used to test the mediating effect of technological innovation factors. The empirical results indicate that the level of digital economy and high-quality economic development in underdeveloped areas is steadily increasing, but there are problems of imbalanced and insufficient development; The digital economy has significantly promoted the high-quality development of urban economy in underdeveloped areas. The level of government intervention, industrial structure, higher education level, and urbanization rate can effectively promote the high-quality development of urban economy in underdeveloped areas; Technological innovation plays an important intermediary role in promoting high-quality economic development in underdeveloped urban areas through the digital economy. Based on the conclusion, propose differentiated digital development strategies, promote the digital transformation and upgrading of traditional industries, and other policy recommendations to promote the high-quality development of urban economy in underdeveloped areas.
