Abstract:In recent years, China has made many important achievements in innovation, but facing the severe international situation, there are still many "bottleneck" technological problems that need to be solved by improving the ability of independent innovation. Independent innovation is not about each innovation subject carrying out innovation in isolation, but about leveraging the role of the national system and mechanism to promote collaborative cooperation among all subjects of the innovation consortium to jointly create knowledge and solve technological problems. This article is based on the SECI knowledge creation model, combined with the characteristics of innovation consortia, and uses a single case study method to explore the knowledge transformation pathways of innovation consortia. The EF-SECI knowledge creation model is constructed, which means that members of innovation consortia can form a continuously rising knowledge creation spiral through the transformation between explicit element knowledge, explicit architecture knowledge, implicit architecture knowledge, and implicit element knowledge, achieving the goal of knowledge creation in innovation consortia. Based on this model, this study found that the sustained knowledge creation of innovation consortia originates from knowledge exchange among cooperative members; The knowledge creation of innovation consortia cannot be separated from the members' ability to absorb and transform knowledge; The breakthrough innovation of innovation consortia is transformed from incremental innovation. Therefore, organizers of innovation consortia should promote knowledge transfer among members by establishing loose organizational structures, good learning mechanisms, effective incentive systems, and other means, in order to achieve the goal of knowledge creation and solve technical problems.
