Abstract:Absrtact: A good evaluation system of university teachers' scientific research is a "booster" to stimulate teachers' scientific research will and continuous scientific research behavior, and also a "ballast stone" to enhance the scientific research competitiveness and overall school-running strength of universities. Through a questionnaire survey of 446 teachers in 8 different types of universities, this paper analyzes the influence of the ideas, methods and procedures of university teachers' scientific research evaluation on teachers' scientific research behavior by using the methods of multiple linear regression and bootstrap test. The findings are as follows: (1) Developmental evaluation concepts, quality-oriented evaluation methods and democratic evaluation procedures have a significant positive impact on university teachers' active scientific research behavior; (2) The satisfaction of scientific research system plays a part in the above relationship, that is, the developmental evaluation concept, quality-oriented evaluation method and democratic evaluation procedure can stimulate teachers' active scientific research behavior by enhancing their satisfaction with scientific research evaluation system; (3) The concept of outcome evaluation, quantitative evaluation method and authoritarian evaluation procedure of university teachers' scientific research evaluation have a significant positive impact on university teachers' negative scientific research behavior; (4) System satisfaction plays a part of mediating effect in quantitative evaluation method, authoritarian evaluation procedure and negative scientific research behavior of university teachers, but there is no mediating effect in outcome evaluation idea and negative scientific research behavior. Therefore, it is suggested that colleges and universities should adjust the evaluation system of scientific research in time, including establishing the evaluation concept of developmental evaluation as the mainstay and outcome evaluation as the supplement; Pay full attention to the quality of teachers' scientific research achievements, not just the quantity; Affirm the independent value of the evaluator and the evaluated, and make full use of democratic evaluation procedures to mobilize the enthusiasm of teachers to participate in scientific research evaluation.
