Abstract:The purpose of this paper is to clarify the mechanism of workplace status and individual innovation behavior of R&D personnel by using the qualitative case study method. The research method takes workplace status as the antecedent variable and establishes a conceptual model of workplace status and individual innovation behavior. In this study, 39 free nodes and 6 main categories are condensed, and the connection between categories is established. The results show that the relationship between workplace status and individual innovation behavior and innovation self-efficacy is positively correlated with an inverted U-shaped curve, and the relationship between R&D personnel's innovation self-efficacy and individual innovation behavior is positively linear. Power distance orientation has a borderline moderating effect on creative self-efficacy, harmonious work passion and compulsive work passion, which provides theoretical support for using workplace status to stimulate R&D personnel's innovation behavior.
