Abstract:Think tank talents are an important component of the national strategic talent force and a key element in serving the modernization of the national governance system and governance capacity. To strengthen China's scientific and technological strategic consulting research and accelerate the construction of national strategic talent, the article summarizes the current situation of think tank talent cultivation and proposes key issues such as the lack of theoretical and empirical research on think tank talent cultivation, as well as the absence of disciplines in think tank talent cultivation in China. Based on the theoretical framework of graduate training mode elements, starting from the analysis of the development trend of think tanks and their demand for talents, it proposes two types of training modes for think tank talent cultivation, namely education and training, the training mode should consist of guiding elements, process elements, supporting elements, and evaluation elements four parts. In the end, we propose four policy recommendations to promote think tank talent cultivation in China.
