Abstract:New quality productivity is an important foundation for achieving Chinese-style modernization and high-quality development.This study delves into the conceptual essence of Xinzhi productivity and, based on the development context of the science and technology industry in Guangdong Province, systematically identifies 15 industries encompassed by the Xinzhi sector. Building on this, the study employs the DEA-Malmquist model and the BMA model to investigate the technological efficiency of the Xinzhi industry and its key influencing factors. The research indicates that the technological efficiency of the Xinzhi industry has developed in a zigzag pattern, with factors such as a enterprise"s risk resistance capability, environmental waste treatment capability, government targeted support, industrial structure, government loan support, and market demand are all critical factors being critical to the development of the Xinzhi industry. Therefore, the government should strengthen targeted support for the Xinzhi industry, Guiding industrial green development , enhance the integration of industry, education, and talent cultivation for this sector to promote the development of the Xinzhi industry.
