Abstract:This paper analyzes the project approval rate, category distribution, regional distribution, and unit distribution of the interdisciplinary disciplines funded by the humanities and social sciences research projects of the Ministry of Education from 2011 to 2020, studies the current situation, characteristics and development trend of humanities and social sciences interdisciplinary projects, and puts forward relevant suggestions for the interdisciplinary funding system. The statistical analysis method was used to systematically sort out and analyze the situation and characteristics of interdisciplinary projects from 2011 to 2020, and then the Nvivo qualitative data analysis method was used to analyze the word frequency of the title Keywords of interdisciplinary projects in two stages, namely the 12th Five-Year Plan and the 13th Five-Year Plan, so as to grasp the progress and hot spots of interdisciplinary projects.The results show that the number of interdisciplinary projects is basically stable. The proportion of youth projects is higher than that of planned projects; The scientific research level of "double first-class" universities is dominant; The number of university projects in the eastern region is large, and the number of universities in the central and western regions is small; The scope of disciplines involved in the project is relatively narrow; The project is guided by economic and social hotspots and government decision-making. It is suggested to increase the number and rate of interdisciplinary projects; increase funding for university projects in the central and western regions; improve the construction of interdisciplinary platforms; expand the scope of interdisciplinary integration; Improve the national funding system for interdisciplinary projects.
