Abstract:Using spatial econometric model for panel data of 21 cities in Guangdong among 2007-2016,this paper studies the relationship of producer services agglomeration and regional innovation. The empirical results show that regional innovation has a positive spatial autocorrelation within the cities, producer services agglomeration and human capital can promote regional innovation, but the chain structure of producer services agglomeration-human capital-regional innovation has not formed. In Pearl River Delta region ,producer services agglomeration is a more obvious factor. Whether in the Pearl River Delta region or the non-Delta region, human capital is a major factor to promote regional innovation.Based on this, the paper puts forward some suggestions.
