Abstract:Based on the data of Guangzhou makerspaces from 2016 to 2019, this study discusses and compares the impact of resource investment and service support on the operational performance of makerspaces, and analyzes the moderating role of national record. The results show that human resources and financial resources can significantly improve operational performance, while material resources have a significant negative impact; Service support not only has a significant positive impact on operational performance, but also promotes the operational performance more effectively than resource investment; National record has a "double-edged sword" moderating role between resource investment and operational performance, but it has a positive moderating role between service support and operational performance. The research conclusions have practical guiding significance for improving the performance of makerspaces.
