Abstract:Rare earth is an important strategic resource in the world. Identifying the dynamic evolution path of key technologies of the rare earth industry is of far-reaching significance for improving the security of China"s industrial chain and supply chain. This paper is based on 1985-2023, the system clustering method of rare earth technology development is divided into four key stages, and through multiple measurement center to identify the common technology of various stages, observe the evolution trend of generic technology, on the basis of the technology group similarity timing analysis detection of rare earth key technology dynamic evolution path in China. The study found: (1) on the whole, China has made rare earth technology, the innovation subjects concentrated in state-owned enterprises, scientific research institutions and colleges and universities; (2) from the analysis of alloy technology, building materials and magnetic technology, as the core generic technology in the field of rare earth, through the whole process of technology development, and continue to promote industrial upgrading; (3) from the evolution path, China"s rare earth technology has strong correlation, clear path of technology integration and differentiation, involving the development of rare earth functional materials, rare earth smelting and separation technology and rare earth terminal application field.
