Abstract:The rapid development of data assetization has provided a new path for improving the efficiency of enterprise resource allocation. Based on the data of A-share listed companies in Shanghai and Shenzhen from 2009 to 2023, this paper uses panel data analysis to deeply explore the impact of data assetization on the efficiency of enterprise resource allocation and its internal mechanism. The results show that data assetization has significantly promoted the improvement of enterprise resource allocation efficiency, and this effect remains robust after controlling for a variety of potential interference factors. Further analysis reveals that data assetization has effectively improved production efficiency by alleviating financing difficulties, improving internal control, and stimulating enterprise innovation vitality. Heterogeneity analysis also found that data assetization has a more prominent role in promoting non-state-owned enterprises, enterprises in the growth stage, and enterprises located in the central and western regions and areas with developed digital infrastructure. Economic consequence analysis further confirms that data assetization indirectly enhances the market competitiveness of enterprises by improving resource allocation efficiency. This paper provides theoretical and empirical evidence for the role of data assetization in improving the efficiency of enterprise resource allocation, and also provides an important reference for policymakers and enterprise managers to optimize data asset management and improve production efficiency.
